Rear brake lights are stuck on in my 93 Honda Accord. Any suggestions? It keeps

draining my battery..? I don't know a lot about cars, but I'm good at following directions, so use laymen terms please. If it is possible for me to fix this myself, that would be great as I'm a broke college student in a new town. Thanks for your help and suggestions.
 
It's probably not broken-very rare.
First, pull the driver's seat all the way back so you can lay on your back to see up the length of your brake pedal. (under dash) If you're smart, you'll take your flashlight with you FIRST time.
The only thing you'll see pushing against the pedal will be the switch. Push the pedal and observe the switch while doing it. It should move in/out with each pedal push. If it doesn't move as fast as the pedal, apply spray lube or or in a pinch, vaseline- to it, then work it by hand repeatedly and briskly. ( I wish I could word that differently....)
If this fails, it probably needs replaced.
 
you need to replace the brake light switch located at the brake pedal.
when you push on the pedal, the switch is activated and sends power to the brake lights. your switch is stuck in the on position. it usually only has 1 or 2 small nuts holding it on. buy a new switch, then look for the same switch located in your car.
this is an easy fix.
