cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!? Hi I have a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire (5 Speed Manual) and I think I am having some sort of fuel problem. When I try to drive it, it bogs down as if it is out of gas, but when you rev it up where the RPM'S are in the 3's or 4's it starts driving. Sometimes when it is idling it acts as if it is going to die, but once I rev it back up it starts driving. The check engine light it on and it also seems like it will run fine when it is cold? In the morning it will run for about 5-10 mins before it starts bogging down. But once it gets warm then it starts feeling like you are running out of gas, and I will have the gas pedal all the way to the floor and it won't go anywhere unless I press in the clutch and rev it up. I have had the fuel filter and fuel pump replaced and that has not solved the problem. Could it be the fuel injector? I don't want to spend more money on something that may not be the problem. My boyfriend hooked it up to the Diagnostic thing and it didn't show anything! So now I am clueless on what to do! someone please help!!!
That can cause it to bog down and feel like it is out of gas? When I press all the way down on the gas pedal it starts going, I always thought it was something to do with my fuel system.

have the catalytic converter checked. sounds like it may be stopped up. take it to an exhaust shop. they can check it without removing it from the car. if it is bad,(that's my guess) then they can replace it quickly.
the reason i think it is the converter is that it runs fine until it heats up. that is when the converter would stop up.
