    Using random wifi, would the rain/wind effect the conncetion?

    It's always a weak signal but good enough. It's downpouring with 30mph winds and I can't get a signal anymore..would the weather have to do with this? My laptop's not showing any listings even the locked ones. OH and why does my iPod pick up a signal quicker/easier than my laptop?
