According to The Wrap, Al Jean says they are laying off of Fox News now because someone at Fox News said they thought the jokes were funny and that The Simpsons is funny "unlike Family Guy." Al Jean says that since they like the show they are laying off them for now. I'll give it to Simpsons...

Like Blackstar said, it's what people will watch. My stepson and I will sit and watch hour after hour of Phineas & Ferb and Family Guy blocks. Especially during times of the year when there's not a lot of new episodes out there.
