It has nothing to do with what kind of shot you are. It comes down to who they feel is young, motivated and able to effeciently command a 2 man observation point without becoming 2 dead guys...

100% sure this guy isn't a Ranger.
Most people will tell you don't date Rangers or Airborne or Infantrymen. But, honestly most guys I know that fall into those categories are good people and Soldiers. I'd worry about the ones that aren't in those groups.
