Will the military still take me?
21 years old

1. mild heart condition called WPW not severe and can be fixed by a procedure. I take one pill everyday and visit a cardiologist once a year. I can have the lazer procedure done to correct it. I have no limitations on physical activity.

2. At 13 I was hospitalized short term and put on zoloft for depression and OCD. Not severe completely over it now

3. At age 17 I was arrested for 2 felonies and 3 midemenors but never charged, no charges and no convictions.

4. Still on zoloft have been for nearly 8 years now

which ones are no`s

The military will only know about your above problems if you tell them. Half of the military is on antidepressants and the other half needs to be. Don't take advise from people on this forum because most of them don't know. Go and see for yourself.

It all depends on what you have on record. IF those felonies aren't on record then you may be able to get waived for the medical issues.

All of them are no's

I like to think your heart (no pun intended) is in the right place but I think you are out of gas on this one. This is straight out of AR 40-501 which all services use at MEPS for standards of medical fitness.

2–18. Heart

(3) Current or history of ventricular conduction disorders, including, but not limited to disorders with left bundle branch block (426.2), Mobitz type II second degree atrioventricular (AV) block (426.12), and third degree AV block (426.0). and Lown-Ganong-Levine-Syndrome (426.81) associated with an arrhythmia are disqualifying.

Current or history of Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome (426.7), unless it has been successfully ablated for a period of 2 years without recurrence of arrhythmia and now with a normal electrocardiogram, is disqualifying.

2–27. Learning, psychiatric and behavioral disorders

d. Current mood disorders including, but not limited to, major depression (296.2–3), bipolar (296.4–7), affective psychoses (296.8–9), depressive not otherwise specified (311), are disqualifying

You'll have to get your heart condition fixed first if it's really possible and for medication you have to be off for 6 months (that's what my recruiter told me)

Stay civilian the military won't take you. Hardly any waivers are being granted.

Yes they will research your info. They do checks that is what MEPS is for.

Being on medication and being in the hospital for depression.
Zoloft for 8 years.

mmmmmaybbeeeee. but just try and talk to a recruiter and ask! they helped me (:
