Zero no Tsukaima: Princesses no Rondo

Holy f**king s**t, you have no idea how much Louise pissed me of in ep 12! I wanted to slap her silly. She's one of the sole reasons I hate the Tsundere archetype, and I'd really wish J.C. Staff would stop making her so freaking bi-polar.

With that aside, the ending was weak, especially compared to the last two. But I did notice that it had the best animation out of the 3rd season so far. And the music was really nice in some areas.

Overall, I can't figure out if this season was worse, or the same as the last season. It had more plot development than season 2, but it was badly executed and weak. Still endless amounts of boob jokes and fanservice. I guess it gets a 6/10, same as last season.

Anyway, I'm done with this series, even if they get another season. Can't watch any more of Saito's endless perverted antics and Louise's endless bi-polar attitude.
 
LOL EPISODE 11 isn't depressing at all... Sex, drugs, alcohol, rape and, what a surprise, breasts...

I think Zero No is good when it takes itself more seriously.

I think you are being a bit harsh guys... This season was pretty good, even though I'm yet to see ep 12.

Episode 12 looks like it'll be interesting, can't wait to see it.

I don't know why people wouldn't be looking forward to another season.

Don't knock JC either.. they have both Shakugan No Shana and Zero No, two of the best animes that are stil airing.
 
I finally got around to watching this last night because Clint said it was good. In 1 day I watched all 33 episodes so far, and I must say i'm loving this series so much. I don't know why I didn't pick this up sooner. Sure easy to tell why Louise is nearly always regarded as the most tsundere character. Just 2 things I have issues with.

1. - The running joke from season 2 onward about Saito loving big boobs. Seriously did he need to become a stock harem male lead? He was awesome in season 1 and then they did such a switch on his personality. Totally not needed.

2. - The way the ended season 2. Don't get me wrong, that was 1 of the saddest endings i've seen in an anime since Clannad's Fuko arc ending. The way he takes Louise's place and kinda dies for her, thats so sad. Even better was when he was brought back to life and you see them so happy together. Then he mentions the fairy. Again no problem, it sets up season 3 so all good yes? Now refer to Issue #1. He mentions the boobs and totaly ruins the happy moment. Not only does it ruin it, it shatters it. What was so bad with him coming back and everyone welcoming him all teary eyed?

All that aside, the latest season surprised me with how good the show still is and Just wish Louise would hurry the s**t up and tell him how she feels because he's said he loves her like how many times? 5? Cmon already. It's almost as if they think the show will end for good if that happens so they avoid it so much.

EDIT - After some thinking, if they did make a season 4 which I really really hope they do, what I think would be cool is if both Louise and Saito go back to japan together. Like episode 1 they return, have 2 or so episodes with just them together with him teaching her about his way of life he used to have. Then in episode 4 or so, have someone figure out a way to summon them back because they need them. Something like that. Or have the bad guys follow them into the real world perhaps. Interested at least to me

EDIT 2 - Ok episode 11 is out. This I suppose was the fan service episode. I'm surprised how fast this show moves and yet it never really seems to be rushed at all. Strange. Anyway only 1 more to go with this season so it will hopefully be an epic ending. Hoping Louise finally confesses. Odd to say that isn't it? Usually it's the guy who never confesses to the girl. Here its the other way around.
 
Keep in mind also that I am a big critic of the over-use of boob jokes, I just think the series has other merits... and I hope they don't fall into that trap again in S4

I'm happy for them not to wrap things up with this season if they are DEFINITELY planning a season four. There are too many anime that just decide to end things without coming to a satisfying conclusion. I think this animating company has a thing with prolonging the lead females "confession"? Take Shakugan no Shana for example. It will HOPEFULLY go onto season three after Zero no (btw Zero No and Shakugan are my two hottest animes of the last couple of years lol) and It seems as if Shana is getting closer to "confessing'. I think they are milking these two series for all of the money they can get lol. I can't blame them.

I totally agree with the boob things as well. Not because it necessarily ruins moments, more because they OVERUSE it WAY too often. Boobs aren't THAT great, honestly lol. They should get some new material in that regard, but other then that THIS SERIES HAS BEEN GREAT SO FAR.

Has anyone else noticed the striking similarities between Shana and Louise?
Likewise with Yuji and Saito?
Whatever the formula was in creating them made them pretty addictive characters lol
 
Overused character archetypes don't always mean a good thing. Frankly, Louise and Saitoh both went from likable characters in the first season to incredibly annoying in the second. I was about to give up on the series until the last episode of the second season wowed me with Saitoh's heroic sacrifice. Then they brought him back to life in a manner that actually worked; considering Guiche had set the building blocks for the miracle with his story of surviving a critical wound several episodes earlier.

Unfortunately, third season seems to barely have any storyboard planning, judging by how they've introduced all these new characters into the main characters' seats, most of whom manage to add nothing to the plot. And what is with all these "surprising" revelations like Tabatha's uncle being a void mage?

Honestly, **** this third season. Irukuku is pretty cute though. Her voice sounRAB really childish though. It kills my boner.
 
I just watched episode 12 and it was brilliant. That was like one of the first times they have kissed for the sake of kissing. I loved it. It was awesome on the romance front. The action side wasn't all that flash, but it got the job done. There were no boob jokes either!

Yes there will probably be another season although it hasn't been confirmed. If there is going to be another one, It will probably be after Shakugan No Shana Season 3. I can't wait. I have to admit that season 2's ending was really dramatic, and the opening theme for season 2 can't be beat lol. But the ending for season 3 was sweet and good in it's own way.

I agree that the BG music is well-done for this series.

People are nitpicking lol. The thing I agree on though is the overuse of boob jokes. I've seen enough. Season 4 will still have an enormous amount of "seeRAB", if you know what I mean (That was subtle). It's too addictive to stop watching. Thanks for another entertaining season JC
 
Just finished the series...As everyone expect, there will be a S4, WOW! another refreshing idea!

Anyway, it is entertaining for sure, thats why I still watch this. Another artifact from the real world has emerged...a Howitzer. About Tabitha, seriously what the hell?
 
Yeah I find a few series do nice reprises of their opening themes lol. I reckon there are a lot of my favorite animes I have been draw too by their music lol. Even in season two of Tsukaima, the instrumental version of the opening theme was sweet.




I honestly did not think they would milk the series for this long at the beginning of this season lol. geeez. Oh well, if you can do it why not.
 
What is the Deal with tabitha?
She was saved by a whole bunch of dudes and she singled him out!?!?
But Louise can't a a excuse this time, they both are the same when it comes to boobs. and tabitha is only one who ever escaped with him without getting a big expolsion. so that will be interesting
