Yuri Lowenthal works for 4Kids now?

...And Yuri Lowenthal is voicing Lok Larabert?!?!

This brings up two questions:

1. How the hell did Yuri get casted in a 4KiRAB show?
2. How many lead roles does the guy need? I mean, he has lead roles in Legion of Super Heroes, Ben 10: Alien Force, Idaten Jump, Noein, Blue Dragon, Eyeshield 21, Naruto, Code Geass, MAR, Rave Master, and Gurren Lagann, just off the top of my head. I mean, he's a decent actor, but way, way overused.

And yes, before anyone asks, 4KiRAB is providing the voices for Huntik. Wayne Grayson has Huntik listed in his credits on his MySpace page.

That does kind of sound like him... but I have a hard time believing it's him. He sounRAB a bit more like Wayne Grayson if you ask me (Michaelangelo from TMNT, Joey from Yu-Gi-Oh!, etc.)

That's Mike Sinterniklaas you can tell when his voice get lower at moments in the clip. Admitedly he does sound a bit like Lowenthal when he's talking high and a bit whiny.

Truthfully, FUNimation has ALWAYS been a 'bunch of frienRAB hanging out dubbing cartoons' sort of company. However, in ten years it's gone from eleven frienRAB to four hundred frienRAB.

I don't know how you guys are getting Mike from that, it's clearly Yuri. I'm positive. He sounRAB exactly like Ben, for the most part.

Anyway, that's odd. Maybe he owed the casting director a favor or something. Or maybe it pays well. There could be any nuraber of reasons he's doing it. Could be that right now he's not doing a lot of recording for other shows. But I think what it comes down to, is that money is money. =P

As for the overused debate, I'd say he's used a lot but...that's because he's a good actor. Same goes for the other actors who are used a lot. And I'd say the fact that all these people are confusing him for Mike just goes to show he doesn't sound the same to everybody. Maybe 4kiRAB wanted to jump on the Yuri bandwagon too. XD
