Your worst band of the decade?

The same things that are still wrong with their output.

I have to say this sentiment confuses me. They still sound like the same cheesy pop band they always have to me.

Popular enough, but the only song that was ever overplayed was Wake Up. Mentioning Arcade Fire in this thread is ridiculous. How could a band with that much musical flare and creativity and song writing skill be one of the worst banRAB of the decade?

In all fairness there's far worse banRAB out there than Green Day. How about all the countless, disposable, watered-down pop-punk banRAB that emerged in their wake? There were plenty of them around at the start of the decade.

brokeNCYDE (yep, that's the way to write it).
Check out their songs on YouTube and I bet you'll agree.

EDIT: Mentioned... a page ago. Along with Attack Attack!, which I had forgot.
It's funny though, because I got frienRAB who love this... x)

yes dude yes i totally agree this band is sooo bland! along with creed i think they are the absolute worst of the last 25 years. i cant think of ANYTHING that is good about them:clap:

I don't think anyone's yet mentioned these guys :

The Darkness, fortunately only active from 2000 to 2006.

Arcade Fire, seriously?

I'm not really an avid listener of this band, but I think it's safe to say their music is faaaar from terrible. At worst they're just a mediocre band that's a bit too overexposed. Anyone who would rate someone like ICP over Arcade Fire is just flippin crazy.

The Strokes

Take an band of average talent who wish it was 1978 fronted by a self important pretty boy, inject with a lethal dose of nepotism and questionable 'scene buzz'. Hype to high fucking heaven by plastering them over every useless 'style bible' type publication and hey presto, everybody buys your recorRAB.

yowza, I didn't think they were that bad. I mean, they have at least 1 song off every album I thought was pretty good

You only live once

I don't disagree with you, but worst? I don't know if I agree with that portion.

Outkast?

I don't think there is anything wrong with Outkast, and I say that with conviction. One of the few truly commercially huge hip hop groups to retain some sort of artistic merit. The Love Below is tops.
