A Beautiful Mind was a great movie for surprise twists and it was a great ending.
[Spoilers for A Beautiful Mind] I never suspected John Nash's friends to not be real until they point out how the little girl never aged. I honestly didn't notice that!
Note: The spoiler warning is just in case someone is not familiar with Nash's life story and hasn't seen the movie.

I love all the ones people have mentioned (Usual Suspects, Memento, Identity, Fight Club, The Others), but I'll add one to the mix: Once Upon a Time in America. Good stuff.
galela : John Cusack, Ray Liotta (need I even go on? )) Amanda Peet, Clea DuVall, Alfred Molina, and a few others.
It seems to have a pretty basic set-up at first (a bunch of strangers stranded at the same hotel for various reasons, and they have to figure out what their connection is when they start mysteriously dying). For the first half I didn't think it was anything special, but once I got to end, the movie had done a complete 180. It was AWESOME. I promise you'll like it
Yes, that was great! I think Star Wars is probably the ultimate favorite, because it's a classic.
Wild Things had a twist ending, but way too many By the end I had no idea what happened because every five minutes, someone else was the mastermind.
To Die For, with Nicole Kidman and Joaquin Phoenix, wasn't necessarily a "plot twist", but had a great ending that I would not have originally anticipated happening!
Scream had a really good reveal at the end, you know, back in the day. :sigh:
Guys, I know this is a difficult thread to post in because of the Spoiler possibility.
But please, feel free to discuss endings and your opinion on it. For the actual spoilers, use spoiler tags -> [sp] the spoilery portions go in here[*/sp] just take out the *.
You can spoiler tag your opinion if it includes spoilers as well. So really, feel free to full discuss movie endings. By the way, you can also discuss your least favorite movie twists in here. I will add it to the title so it's clear.
When the famous words from James Earl Jones were heard for the first time..."Obi Wan, never told you who your father was"...Luke..."He told me enough, he told me, you killed him!"...Vader "No, I am your father!"......I think that's exactly the expression I had on my face when I heard that line!
Most of the movies mentioned here really had an unexpected ending. And almost all of them are my favorites
What do you think about Vanilla sky, I would have never guessed the ending...
