Even then, it already is. But the version you entered in didn't do the song justice. This is how I remember the TAS opening.
I could go on naming the Disney Afternoon and Warner themes all day, since nearly all of them are excellent, but, instead, one in particular I must mention, is the hardly-seen-on-Toonami original US Dragon Ball Z intro, "Rock the Dragon". I remember on rare days Toonami would air the movies, I'd get totally pumped up listening to it. The original Sailor Moon theme was great, too. I'm missing how stupid I was for liking these shows just by listening to their intros.
"Tank", Cowboy Bebop's jazz-influenced intro is right up there. As classy as the amazing show itself. heck, I'd say "The Real Folk Blues, Part 2"'s only fault was that the intro didn't air with it.
As down-right-awful as Teen Titansand Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi were, I have to say, Puffy did a great job with both intros. They're the queens of J-Pop for a reason.
Speaking of "down-right-awful" and "J-Pop", Azumanga Daioh's intro for you guys, too.
OK, one Warner intro. Batman Beyond's. Techno-metal. Great, trippy stuff. And Samurai Jack's, too. For some reason, I always combine the two together.
To end everything, the most well-known them song of all time, unabridged
