I watch more romantic movies than I care to admit to anybody. lol. They're just...perfect to watch when I'm curled up in my bed. I especially enjoy movies that are fluffy, don't require much thought but are entertaining and funny enough to watch over and over again.
Love Actually A lot of people have listed this and I pretty much agree with all of the reasons you guys have stated.
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days For some reason this is my go-to movie when I'm bored or feeling down or whatever. I've watched it a billion times and I still find it funny. I dunno, maybe that makes me lame but I really enjoy this movie.
Music and Lyrics Finally watched this recently and I can't believe I waited so long. I fully blame my friend in the delay of my seeing this wonderful movie. Last year on March 6 (I remember because it was the last day of comprehensive exams & my mom's bday), we were trying to decide on what movie to see. I wanted to watch Music and Lyrics but she didn't want to because she doesn't like Hugh Grant so we ended up seeing Night at the Museum. Heh, yeah. Anyways, this is now creeping up and replacing How to Lose as my 'go-to' movie. I love the banter between Alex and Sophie and all of Alex's witty lines.
"
I've been living with a shadow overhead, I've been sleeping with a clown above my bed...Clown is not right. What is that word?"
"It's cloud."
"Oh right! Well, clearly. How could I possibly read-"
"Why would there be a clown in your bed?"
"Let me tell you, it would not be the first time."
"Yeah, I'm not surprised."
"Just write in capital letters.."
"Here, why don't you write it?"
"Yes, you dictate, I'll write. And I'll write like a human, not a small pekanese dog."
Just Like Heaven Really cute movie. And I like Mark Ruffalo even more in this than in 13 Going on 30. Although I love in that too.
Never Been Kissed I've loved this for years and I'm still not tired of it.
What a Girl Wants Guilty pleasure movie, I'll admit. This is like the one thing that Amanda Bynes doesn't annoy me in. lol. I dunno, her voice isn't as whiny as it is in her other stuff? Or I just don't notice because I'm looking at Colin Firth and Oliver James? Heh.
