Dio, you claim to have a 160 IQ. Shouldn't you have been able to come up with the hypothesis that, even if you were impaired, it wouldn't hurt your grades, since you are already at a higher level than anyone else?

And that's all I'm going to say, since the rest would be feeding your trolery. That's honestly the only way I can believe you can switch between being a perfectly intelligent poster to the childishness of claiming you didn't say what anybody can just look up and read that you've said.

I really can't find any other way you can switch from skeptical mindset to Fundie--believing that your experiences mean more than citable data.
 
What is so unreasonable about simply pointing out the FACT that the effects of marijuana do not statistically increase the likelihood for getting into a car accident? To me, that is the same as saying it does not impair driving ability.

No, it's more like putting a pack of ribeyes in my purse at the grocery store, only to remove them before I check out. You can draw conclusions about my motives, but you can't arrest me because I ultimately never committed a crime. That's why guards don't detain people for shoplifting until they've reached the parking lot.

On the other hand, demanding cash from a bank teller is, indeed, a crime, even if you were kidding, even if you don't mention a weapon, even if you don't HAVE a weapon, and even if you leave before getting the cash, because our fine legislators have deemed it to be a crime.

I personally wouldn'ty care, no, but that's not even analogous since the doctor gets paid to examine people. This guy at the workshop was a paying customer himself, not an employee.

Who cares? If you want to make a point about marijuana not impairing cognitive abilities, then go find a cite. (Hint: One exists.) This bullshit "no it doesn't" "I'm a pothead so I know what I'm talking about" "no it doesn't" "you're wrong" crap is what turns your threads into the Dio Show. Either back up your opinion with facts, or STFU. On a message board supposedly dedicating to fighting ignorance, coming in to a thread and making an argument consisting of, "I'm right you're wrong, I just am and you have to accept it, I'm right right right and you're wrong wrong wrong" is pretty sad.
 
Excuse me, but I have NOT denied having said anything that I said. If you think that's so easily provable then prove it. Show me the quote where I said something, and then show me the quote where I denied having said it.
 
I haven't smoked pot in years, but if someone wants to claim that marijuana impares cognition and motor skills, that's the person who needs to bring the cite, not me.
 
I'd like to note that I'm all for legalization of marijuana, by the way. But anyone who thinks it doesn't impair driving skills is probably high themselves.


(And if you don't give a shit if your surgeon is stoned, you're on something a HELL of a lot stronger than weed)
