You fucking bitch.

If you drive ready and paying attention and prepared according to the weather and other conditions, you do not have to slam on your brakes to avoid a long line of stopped cars. My point is: think ahead.

PS: I always get tickets. Fucking COPS anyways.

I once came over a hill on an icy four lane highway, only to find a line of traffic stopped in the left lane (which I was in). I was still doing 70 MPH because until that point, traffic had been fairly scarce.

After attempting to slow down, and simply sliding without hardly slowing down, I let go of the brakes and carefully -- but quickly -- changed lanes, barely avoiding the last vehicle in the lineup.

The only thing I can't figure out is why the left lane was plugged up and the right lane was clear. As in, the left lane was plugged up for close to a mile, and yet no one was moving into the other lane to keep moving. I just drove by everyone and kept going.

That's what happens when a moron that belongs in the right lane causes a problem by being in the left lane and the left laners just say "eh" and wait. Canada, yah?

Yeah, I contacted my agent as soon as I could and told him nothing but the truth. He seems to think I have a strong claim compared to hers, so I'm really not too worried about that. She just had to create more problems for everyone else when it was clearly her fucking fault.

I would have driven into the grass if there weren't snow and a huge ass cliff. There isn't a police report, but we both have contacted our insurance and it's hopefully being taken care of right now. She needs to get whats coming for her, with the way she thinks, acts, and drives, just warrants her a good ass-whoopin'.

And the whiplash, fucking blows. The pain is just always there, and makes it hard to concentrate on anything. The pills don't really help much either, they just make me hella sleepy and useless.

Exactly. She should be paying for any damages done, as it was fully her fault and my car should return as it was before. It's that simple, but people have to make it more difficult than it should be. I've already filed in all the hospital charges, and records, and hopefully that should be fully covered by her and her insurance company.

Right. I don't see why you insist to criticize or try to teach me how to drive when I clearly didn't cause this or do any harm to anyone else. I would have slid either way I tried, and she would have hit me either way. And this was the first time I've ever seen traffic stopped on that bridge in the 12 years I've lived up here, so it really didn't cross my mind.

it seems that 55 mph is a tad fast to be driving in those conditions anyway. you were aproaching those other cars very fast, and only a the expense of spinning out did you have time to stop in time. neither of you (especially her...) were driving very carefully. hope your life turns around though man.

Yes, Mr. Necroposter, but he had enough time to stop without hitting anything. That's it. The end. She, however, did not.
Now that this thread has been brought back from the dead, did you get everything worked out, Slacker?

Yeah Slacker I've had some car troubles myself lately, although I'm usually the one causing the wrecks. Luckily I have a good insurance company who takes care of everything, as long as I pay them $900 (meh, at least they fix your car and the other person's).

If you can acknowledge that you weren't driving right that's good - but it sucks that the biatch behind you couldn't drive right either. So you were kind of both at fault. But since she hit you from behind the onus is more on her I think. Hopefully the insurance company can fight it out for you. Usually they will do that. I guess at the end of the day it's down to 'shit happens, deal with it'.

But anyway; I know how wrecks can suck when it's not your fault. But I'll tell you guys more about that in another thread...
