You are basically paying $250 for a new controller system with the wii

My friend bought mine off me today and we opened it and played it for 3 hours, and i think it fuckin sucks. The controllers don't add to the fun for me at all. The graphics are horrible and not even noticebly different from the gamecube. I was planning on just keeping it, but I am very glad that I sold it to him. I don't understand why everyone is saying its so great. I'll stick with my 360 and ps3.

If you don't want to get into the game and just sit there flicking your wrist then you might not enjoy it but for people who want to get involved and have a blast like jumping around and swinging it's cool. I tested out Excite Truck at game stop it was sweet and the controller was way better than the X360 or PS2 controllers. Graphics weren't as good as the others but it was way mroe fun to get into it. X360 had pretty good graphics I'd still rather get a computer for graphics though, wireless controllers worked well, no real complaints with the system. PS3 on the other hand, the Graphics didn't come up to par with the X360 that's been out for awhile, when alot of stuff was going on you could actually notice the frame rate drop while playing The only improvements I noticed on the PS3 is they added tons of details to stuff but who cares if you can see individual shocks and springs fly off the truck when it explodes, waste of effort. The game I was playing was some off-road one and it had a glitch I ended up driving right through a bridge and crashing on the ground below it. I wouldn't pay $300 for a PS3 with the other 2 systems on the market.

i haven't play the wii yet - i'd rather save up a little bit to get the ps3 and 360. if the wii is really easy to hacks and such i might get it later

I think I figured out your problems.

If you don't like Wii Sports, you obviously:

A. Have shitty friends who do not know how to have a good time
B. Are so caught up in "1337 graphix" and "pure pwnage of nUbs" that you have lost the real sense of life and a thing called FUN.
C. You touch yourself on a regular basis, at night, and invite other men over to join in the fun.

Any combination of the above 3 are the problem, and it may even be all of them.

Bad Wii graphics can also be explained by their being 1st gen games. I have a lot of confidence we'll see some great things in 2007. Heck, think of Zelda as a Wii game from the ground up and not a Gamecube port with Wii controls like it is.

its gay and you know it. you can just flick your wrists doing anything such as pitching in wii sports baseball. this is just a fad and will pass by soon. im guessing right around the time that the ps3 becomes readily available wii is for little kids

what game(s) did you play? and keep in mind youve been trashing it for awhile, so your already going into it with a negative mindset so your obviously not going to enjoy it.

. I don't know why people that bash the Wii over the 360. Its more fun to have both systems. Thanksgiving is going to be great playing Wii Sports with the family.

Dude I've never trashed it. I was looking forward to playing it. We played wii sports which was a HUGE letdown considering how people here were saying it was one of the most fun things they have done in a while. Next we played Rayman Raving Rabbids. The minigames were seriously for infants. Not one of them appealed to me in any way and we played about 12 different ones. Next was Zelda. Im sure it will be a great game, but if i wanted to play it that bad I could just use a gamecube and save the $250 and sacrifice the fishing and sword swinging. I'm sure you wont miss much using a standard controller. I'm just really let down with it because I didnt find it fun at all. I'm pissed that I wasted the night playing this instead of Gears of War. It is just not the system for me. Ill have a lot more fun buying 4 games for the 360 or ps3 rather than spending the same amount of money just so ill be able to flick my wrist after im tired of actually batting in a baseball game the proper way after 5 minutes because it makes absolutely no difference as to how you hit the ball

What's your problem man? I'm not saying that I'm not in the physical shape to play a wii, I'm saying that the controller system is not fun to me. I enjoy the regular controllers. The Wii Remote and Nunchuck do not heighten my gaming experience whatsoever. Just my opinion. Sorry to be one of the few that doesn't like this system.

zelda gets to be fun after a few minutes, you really get into it with the controller. the experience from it is completely different.

i personally dont like wii sports, but some people do. to me its just boring, was fun with friends for a few minutes, but then after that everyone just got bored.

but your mind is already set, so there is no point in me even saying anything at all.

sorry, might be i went overboard

but i mean, what did the other 2 systems did to improve gameplay, nothing really, only graphics ....... oh yea, the sixaxis controller isnt any better than the wii remote from what i heard

Thats cool man, I hope you enjoy it. I'm sure a lot of people will. Just not the system for me and I basically see it as a $250 gamecube with revamped controllers. I'm sure there will be some really cool games in the future tho that might convince me to get one someday.
