yellow cap battery for car audio?

would a yellow battery like optima lower the strain on my alternator ,

i have a 08 honda accord and am running 600 watts rms,

i want to change the battery before i add a 4 channel amp, and maybe a big 3 upgrade


if my alternator is 100amp, what is the maximum amount of watts i shld be running.
 
No, its a deep cycle battery, its not made for starting. Its designed to be able to discharge fully over and over again without shortening its lifespan. It would be good to play the stereo with the engine off, but its not ideal as an engine battery, no matter what anyone says.

Def. do the big 3 upgrade. Keep the factory battery for now, because when the car is running, the alternator is what really matters.

100 amps should be sufficient for 600 watts. Even a 1000 watt system would fare decently.
