Wtf???!!!!

I'm sure as hell glad I've never had asthma. That would screw with me during sports so much, I probably wouldn't even be playing sports anymore. Considering I have a game literally every fucking day.

yea, I've had it since I was born
I used to goto the emergency room every spring when pollen broke out and made it worse, but now I have a breathing machine portable thing at home
I still have an albuterol inhaler, that ur not suppose to take more than twice a week*or at least shouldn't have to* but the doctor was shocked to here me say I take it like 4 times a day..
So I've been on pulmicort, went off, and now I have serevent which really works but it's only 12 hour length...I used to take Singulair for a year which is all day and kept me from waking up all night but it gets expensive and I can't always keep going to the doc. every month to get a refill so I quit on my own lately and it's driving me nuts...I had no idea how well it was working and now I'm weezing all the time, can't go to sleep barely cause most ppl breath involuntary while sleeping, and I'm usually up forcing myself to breathe cause I choke and stop if I go to sleep...it's a real fuck to deal, like not drinking milk in the winter cause it's a trigger, but I've seen worser ppl out there and I'm glad it's not too bad....i mean, usually stairs are ok for me, if it's controlled enough I can bike or something, but running distance is like two houses and off to the hospital, so I never got to run a mile or anything in school cause I couldn't barely get a quarter, or half a quarter mile in with out going nuts

k, well I got work in 5 hours so I'm gonna sleep if I can, my inhalers practically empty now and I'm still having trouble since 3 hours ago, all I can say is sleep on ur back, only way to get an air flow
u know when ppl say asthma is like breathing through a straw, I tried that and couldn't do it more than a sec.
asthma attacks are like breathing heavily panting, through a coffee stir stick
and sometimes when ur alone and u start hereing someone whistle, it's freaky when I find out it's really me just breathing

it would suck to have asthma. I wil probably have emphysema in a few years, the way i smoke.
My nephew had a tough break. he loves sports, and has recruiters form Army and OSU looking at him (hes only in 9th grade)
Then, he went to the doctor. He has a rare genetic bone disease-brittle bone disease. his bones keep breaking. he has to spend the whole summer in treatment, and miss football and church camp.
Id take asthma over that any day.

a co-worker with diabetes once said to me, "shit, I'd rather have all ur asthma and fucked up allergies and problems over diabetes"

I'm guessing diabetes suck ass but I don't know too much about it

and that's gotta suck about the bone disease, I'm afraid to break a bone cause I never have yet, and I drink like 3 gallons of milk a week that all the calcium helps
'it's like when u've never been stung by a bee, and u don't know whether ur allergic, so u freak out around one'

lol. nice analogy. Diabetes isn't that big a deal. All that you do is test your blood throughout the day and be careful with sweets and stuff. But they're not completely off limits. Seems like just about everyone in my family has diabetes. Both my grandfathers had/has it and so does my aunt. I'm always freeking that I'm going to develop it, so I study it a lot.

oy, I don't believe my family has a history with it, my uncle died of some kind of cancer so that might scare us..but mostly we're all asthmatics, my dad's got it but it's almost cleared up, my grandmother has it and got emphesyma from smoking and was forced to quit....I don't know about my grandfather, he passed away last august..he was mowing the lawn and half way through it, he had a heat stroke and died, our neighbor found him sitting lifeless in a chair like he tried to rest from the heat but it was too late...he was only 66 :( and a 3 time checker/chess state champion of louisiana and tied for first at the south carolina chess tournament a month before he died, so at least he went away doing something he likes

neway, hope u don't get diabetes, things like this can screw with a persons life and it's never something u want to deal with but have to live with

Yeah, Sorry to hear about ur grandpa. My grandpa died just about 7 years ago (wow I didn't realize it's been that long) from neglecting his diabetes. He was only 63. His father lived to be like 88 with diabetes. He didn't have to go.
 He didn't have to.

yea it's always like that....except for those who's lived such a long life it's like they expecting it and completely ready
in otherwords....my great grandfather, I think his name is Crayton because that's my middle name, anyway his life goal was to live into the millienum, he was born in 1898
He died on January 4th, 2000
he made it into the millienum by 4 days at 102 years old

I went to his house for the funeral, it's like walking back in time there, he had his own farm, and everything was so ancient like living in the 20's or something...my dad and grandfather always said he never liked the new technology and it showed
neway, I wonder if we could ever pull that off, I heard about this 130 year old lady still alive and that's got to be hard to do, it's like living through sereval movements in history, stuff that back in the day ppl never got to see how advanced we are now
of course her heart one day is gonna go "fuck this, I've been ticking for 130 years, I'm tired, one second won't kill me for a rest" heart attack beeeeeeeeeeeep, how sad, lol..I don't get sad so it's kinda funny

yeah, type does have a lot to do with it. Type one requires insulin all the time, type two, or like adult onset diabetes (I think that's what it's called) is caused by many things, but mostly excessive weight. And although it doesn't always require insulin, it very easily can if not taken care of properly.
