yea, I've had it since I was born
I used to goto the emergency room every spring when pollen broke out and made it worse, but now I have a breathing machine portable thing at home
I still have an albuterol inhaler, that ur not suppose to take more than twice a week*or at least shouldn't have to* but the doctor was shocked to here me say I take it like 4 times a day..
So I've been on pulmicort, went off, and now I have serevent which really works but it's only 12 hour length...I used to take Singulair for a year which is all day and kept me from waking up all night but it gets expensive and I can't always keep going to the doc. every month to get a refill so I quit on my own lately and it's driving me nuts...I had no idea how well it was working and now I'm weezing all the time, can't go to sleep barely cause most ppl breath involuntary while sleeping, and I'm usually up forcing myself to breathe cause I choke and stop if I go to sleep...it's a real fuck to deal, like not drinking milk in the winter cause it's a trigger, but I've seen worser ppl out there and I'm glad it's not too bad....i mean, usually stairs are ok for me, if it's controlled enough I can bike or something, but running distance is like two houses and off to the hospital, so I never got to run a mile or anything in school cause I couldn't barely get a quarter, or half a quarter mile in with out going nuts
k, well I got work in 5 hours so I'm gonna sleep if I can, my inhalers practically empty now and I'm still having trouble since 3 hours ago, all I can say is sleep on ur back, only way to get an air flow
u know when ppl say asthma is like breathing through a straw, I tried that and couldn't do it more than a sec.
asthma attacks are like breathing heavily panting, through a coffee stir stick
and sometimes when ur alone and u start hereing someone whistle, it's freaky when I find out it's really me just breathing
