Would you pay $492.00 for the E65

Folks,

The missing items:

# Nokia Headset HS-5 (black)
# Nokia Connectivity Cable CA-53
# Nokia Carrying Pouch CP-18

They are not that expensive, even bought them separately. But, $492... hmm... Perhaps, I am cheap, so I am going to pass. I rather pay more to the authorized distribution channel in Hong Kong, for example. At least, it carries everything and usually throw in some gimmicks promo items like screen protector, keychain, etc.

I just bought one from this person:

It's cheaper and has the missing items as well. This person was recommended by another user here.

I'll let u guys know how it turns out

that is a nice little package, for about 480. I love it when there are a bunch of things included in the box...

I would agree with everyone who has said to wait about a month before jumping on this phone. For what this phone can do, I would say it is worth about 399.99...and it will probbaly drop lower than that after a while.

lol.....I think that would be breaking the phone! I watched Rcaddens video and it seems pretty easy if your careful but nothing beats the old S40's. I could replace housings in a matter of minutes. The N95 is going to be a painful process for any brave soul that trys!

Price will come down in few weeks. but for the features it has.. not bad price at all.

It has big screen as in N73 & wifi with upto 24MB free RAM after the clean boot, slim, long batter life as in N73, mp3, but the camera. It has extra buttons for conferencing, mute & contacts PLUS the "D" Pad! It also has new features like showing missed calls, SMS & to-do items in the active standby screen!!

There is little doubt he's a cheap ***! He bought an E61 and turned it around in less than a day and turned a dime on it to boot!

I have an E65 and a N80 and I would say the E65 is a more refined version of the N80. I agree with Rcadden...sure it brings nothing new to the table, but it definately is in the same range as the N80. It does every major function the N80 can do, with the cons being the lower pixel camera without a flash(not like the N80's camera is that great in the first place) and the QVGA screen. Everything else about the E65 is a pro. First and foremost, build quality...the E65 is solid...phone doesn't wobble, creak, and the slide works and feels much like the 8801's. Second, battery life is substantially better than the N80, even though that's not saying much since we all know that's the N80's biggest knock. Third, this phone is thin...it's basically the bottom half of the N80...about as thin as a RAZR when folded...you seriously don't notice it in your pocket. Fourth, the E65 is very responsive, menus and the wifi on the N80 lagged, even after flashing to the N80ie...the E65 is snappy and the wifi doesn't lag. Again, the phone brings nothing new to the table in technological aspects, but IMO it's a better phone than the N80
