Would my car alrenator mess up if i don't install a capacitor on my car amplifiers?

i've been having problems starting my car lately. my alternator has gotten stuck twice and i want't to know if its because my amplifier doesn't have a capicitor installed.
my amp is 1000 watt.
i've heard this has happen to peoples car's before im not sure
what do you think????
 
its probably just goin out, i dont think its because u dont have a cap, a cap will do lil for u. when u play ur system for long periods of time, ur alternator is working overtime and in return gets hotter and hotter, for example i have a 1500 watt kicker amp, in my car and a 80 amp alternator, ive never had any problems with it, i play the system respectfully, and not for long periods of time so my alternator is not running too hard, if ur alternator does finally go out, and u gotta replace it anyway, u might as well go with a high output alternator.
