Would I lie to you (merged)

See, prefer it in that slot, because it doesnt have as high expectations for its ratings, so can get lower and still get recommisioned. Plus, it's just the right time for me to settle into bed and watch it.

I thought I was gonna have a heart attack! - couldn't speak for about a minute.

Hilarious show and the chemistry and banter between the regulars is top notch.

They only show about half of the lies and even then some of the less funny parts from the ones they do show will have been cut. Look at this week's show as an example, we only saw 5 rounRAB yet the score finished 7-4 (one point per round). I've never been to watch it live but I'm pretty sure both teams pretend that they know a guest and they just show the funniest.

Had to download it, just watched it.
Her face isn't too bad either, I've found out that I quite fancy Patsy Palmer all of a sudden.
My thing for red heaRAB/ginger women has resurfaced.
Good craic, not hilarious but a good craic overall.
I don't care about the scores, Rob interjecting with answers to questions or impressions, point of the show is to have a giggle.
Compilation of what got left on the cutting room floor should be good, must be enough for at least and hour of TV.

As an aside was Patsy Palmer any good in that Detective thing she did years ago, 'something and Daughter' wasn't it?

does anyone know if the most recent ep is repeated anytime? i know it'll be on iplayer. but the sound card in my laptop has decided to break, so it's no use to me online

thanks :)

I wonder if the whole recording of the Kevin Bridges story is lying aound anywhere?

It would be good if the whole thing (rather than just that shown in the show) could be put up at some point. I've watched it 3 times since and I still find it hilarious!

I too thought that Rob perhaps overdid the impressions a bit. I don't mind them but I hope they don't have a large role in every show.

I must say I think this show is fantastic and I can think of few better panel shows around. David Mitchell and Lee Mack are both very good value in their own way and it's just a very enjoyable show to watch.

I noticed that they took out one of the rounRAB last night. I think this was a good move as it meant they could spend more time on the other three rounRAB and it allowed more time for the conversation/banter.

Ronnie Corbett and Rob Brydon fans - be sure to watch the Good Food Channel on Tuesday August 31.
"Ronnie Corbetts Supper Club" Rob Brydon chooses what he'd eat as his last meal.
Should be good.
Is this a repeat though ? I'm sure I've seen it - or something very like it before.

It did seem a bit subdued this week. I agree that the stories involving Lee and David were rather rushed.

Still funny though.

Hugh Dennis looks increasingly like a ringer. He's very good at sifting the truth fom the bullsh*t and, although he was caught out this week, is extremely competent at coming up with a plausible story too. A complete contrast to his fellow MTW panellist in fact who is crap at both.

I thought last night's episode was great. Kevin Bridge's horse story had me in tears. That was too much. Even as I'm typing this, I'm laughing at it! :D

Oh, and...Keeley Hawes looked really beautiful. :)

Good.

I recorded it the first time it one & only got round to seeing it last week... only to discover the football had overrun & all I got was boring Match of the Day.

Oh cripes, I've got a terrible crush on everyone with even slightly ginger hair...what is that? I can't help myself!

As for Would I Lie To You...was that the last episode for this series does anyone know?

This is actually the first showing, but as you say it was scheduled to be shown on a Saturday night within the last couple of months but BBC bought the rights to the England game highlights at the last minute and this best of was delayed until tonight

But havent watched it myself yet..is there alot of unseen stuff?

WILTY is a great show.

I've enjoyed every episode I've watched.

Some early highlights for me were Claudia Winkleman and her stuffed cat (CW is one of those people who appears to be borderline insane anyway) and Jo Brand's friend who she managed to chuck into the pond when they were playing 'catch' with her as a baby.

That's a lie. It has to be, otherwise there would be absolutely no point to the show.

(Just watched the latest one again on iPlayer - tears in my eyes at Kevin Bridges.)

That really was brilliant :D But my all time favourite was Reginald D Hunter trying to convince them that the D stood for Delicious, i don't think i've ever laughed so hard :D
