I'm not a regular viewer but that was one of the funniest things I have seen in ages.

David Mitchell is a comedy genius. Nobody rants like he does.
 
I didn't think this week's was as good as previous ones (although in fairness last week's one with Kevin Bridges was hard to beat!)

I don't think they gave enough time to the stories really. It seemed to reach the point of guessing too quickly and there hadn't been time to build up the story or for any real humour to come through. The best episodes to my mind are when there are a few very funny stories (normally involving Lee or David) which get a decent amount of screen time.

I also didn't see the point of having the round about the celebrity fact return (this time about Andy Murray.) It's not been in the series so far and I think it's easily the weakest round as it doesn't lend itself to banter, interrogation or improvisation.

I'd be interested to know how long they film the show for. Perhaps a time slot of 45 minutes would be more appropriate?
 
They should extend the show by 15 mins. The time just flies by. Very funny show last night, but the Ronnie Corbett one where he was repeatedly having the p1$$ taken out of him was even funnier.
 
Martin Clunes really seems quite lovely, and he looked to be genuinely enjoying the show as well.

I like Rob's impressions, because he's so obviously shoehorning them in. His David Mitchell impression is great.
 
I imagine he probably did get a go but it was cut from the broadcast to give more time to the horse story, they at least focused on him a bit more later so he still got the airtime. Kind of unfair on him but the horse story really was hilarious!

I agree with all those saying this series has been the best, every episode has been laugh out loud funny and the latest episode was the highlight. Mitchell and Mack are great, I've never been a fan of Brydon in other things but on this I have to admit he's very funny and it just always seem like a fun show to be on.

Oh and we haven't been able to close our living room door for a good few months now after the door handle came off, and if it closes it takes AGES to prise open! :D
 
Really enjoyed this, but I was hoping for a replay of Jo's mystery guest so was a bit disappointed. Loved seeing Reginald explaining what the D stood for again.
 
Lee Mack and David Mitchell talking about Lee playing swingball with a chimpanzee was the funniest thing I've heard for a long time.

But I get the impression that Mack and Mitchell really don't understand each other!
 
Yes, it definitely should be longer, it always seem to end too soon. They should show each person having at least one story each, which I don't think Craig did tonight. They should have missed out the Andy Murray thing and let Craig have a go.

PErsonally i think Rob is fck** hilarious. It's like having Alan Partridge introducing every show which is no bad thing.

This show never fails to make me lol a few times in the half hour and these days that means it is one of my fav shows on telly. Friday nights are good with this and Pete vs Life on Channel 4 which looks promising.
 
I would imagine they all have "a degree" of truth. If you stop and think, we all have strange little foibles, and most of us have had some peculiar experiences..especially when we were young. A lot of their stories are not particularly "gob smackingly" strange anyway.

Brilliant end to the series.(Next week's show is a compilation of unseen bits.) David Mitchell was on particularly good rant form tonight. Plus we had the adorable Joanna Page. Joanna, if you say eight sevens are 54, then eight sevens are 54.:D
 
This is such a brilliant show...always entertaining and three of my favourite comedians as the captains and presenter.

I totally agree, it should be longer!
 
That is SO true. As others have mentioned, even panelists I would normally avoid on tv come up with some great lines, and appear to enjoy the whole thing immensely.
I guess laughter is infectious, and it all appears to be natural and unforced...it has certainly turned into one of my highlights of the week. A simple idea, perfectly executed.
