Would hooking up two guitars to one amp overload it or something?

I am just wondering if i can hook up two guitars to my amp (Peavey Bandit 112 transtube) Because it has one input for high gain and another for low. I am not going to try anything till i know because i dont want to ruin my amp.(im a little new at guitar btw.)
 
One amp, I'm no music expert or anything but i'd have to say. Wouldn't that mean both guitars will be....idk......Fighting each other for the amp?

I'd expect one bla noise of two guitars combined.

I wouldn't recommend it
