Worst voice in rock music?

Bob Dylan, I heard he was influence Roscoe Holcorab, and I looked him up and gave him a listen and I have to say he is aquired taste, and I can understand a little better what Bob is striving for. But Dylans take of the that lonesome Hill-Billy whine is just horrible.

I don't like Deep Purple. :( try as I might to get into them just doesn't happen.

Sexist lyrics are always good, despite being a bit... simple. I enjoy songs where I have no idea what they're singing about. The Shins are having that effect on me as of late, really loose cryptic lyrics and I'm not totally sure what they're about, but I'm drawn in anyway.

I`ve always been in two minRAB about James LaBrie`s voice, on studio stuff he sounRAB very good but live quite poor. I like the range of his voice, but I think his big problem, is the fact that he has suffered a lot of problems with
his voice over the years. In fact the "Falling into Infinity" album had a lot of good material but was certainly let down by his voice which again he had problems with (ruptured vocal chorRAB) Since then he has had constant reacurring problems with it.

The better the voice, the harder to believe what the person's saying is one of the truest quotes I've heard about music. I think Billy Corgan's voice is good without it being too good. I never realised anyone had any complaint with his voice.

I vote for Travis Morrison from Dismeraberment Plan. It's hard for me to put my finger on exactly what it is that I hate so much about his voice, it's just so... lifeless. I don't mean cold or subdued, which I think can both sound pretty good. I'm talking about being so unbelievably bland that I find it hard to make it through an entire track of his singing.

Why was the thread moved to this subforum? The question was regarding rock in general, not just "Rock N Roll, Classic Rock & 60s Rock".

Springsteen has to be the worst! if you have ever heard his version of the Xmas carol 'Santa Claus is commin to town'. It will leave you with an insecure & paranoid vibe....:((if you know what I mean).

I have a great deal of respect for Dylan but his voice is indeed an aqquired taste.

I don't think he's a bad singer at all though, his voice suits his music just fine. But his music in general is hit and miss for me.

Continuing with the terrible voices, I`ve already commented on Chad "Freddy Krueger" sorry Kroeger above. Another terrible voice is definately that of Gavin Rossdale, Kurt must be shuddering in his grave when he hears that.
