Worst voice in rock music?

Not the worst per se, but I can only listen to Planes Mistaken For Stars in small portions because of their singer's (intentionally) scratchy, painful voice.

Edit: come to think of it, Jon Bon Jovi probably has the worst voice...

Oh, has anyone mentioned the dude from AFI? Or My Chemical Romance? Or Fall Out Boy? Basically all the same mother ****er? At least they sound like they could be the mutant three-headed crossbreed of Geddy Lee and Cerberus, the guardian of the gates of Hades. Actually that kind of sounRAB badass, but you know what I'm saying. They should be burned alive.

Mike Patton is one of the best vocalists ever.

His nasally vocal style in earlier Faith No More stuff does get rather grating but he cuts that out in later recorRAB (starting with Angel Dust) and with his other projects like Mr. Bungle and Fantomas where he shows more of his range.

I dunknow if I can pick just one :D

As much as I love Motley Crue, Vince Neil is a poor singer and the weakest part of the band. Live, he forgets and misses lyric and his studio vocal has little range. But the band as a whole covers up for his downfalls.... ****, we all know he was only in the band cuz he was Tommy's high school buddy.

I think, again... as much as I like GN'R, Axl has a pretty annoying sound. His vocal works best on his own tunes, but it really makes me cringe when he performs cover songs. Way too much weird stuff going on with his style... it's a shame that the chorus to Knockin' On Heaven's Door has been permanently scarred.

Are you talking about the Jeff Lynne and ELO that everybody knows or some other Jeff Lynne from an alternative universe here?

To describe ELO as the worst band ever is as ridiculous as it gets!!! They might not be my style either, but they are unique in their orchestrated sound and corabine a lot of good elments of traditional rock as well, in fact they could be called a classic rock band. Also Jeff Lynne is a very respected artist in rock circles etc.
