Worst moral message in a kids cartoon

In reponse to The Incredibles debate, Syndrome was a psychopath. He hunted down and killed every superhero except for the Parrs and Frozone. He would be the last person to trust with the ability to give people powers. Not to mention that it would create mass chaos and and anarchy

I wouldn't get that upset for the line 4Kids made. I do agree that their line was better, at least in a sense. Obviously, kids aren't going to imitate something like standing on top of a moving car. That wouldn't be a good idea. Turning that line into a joke moral made it funnier and in a way better. Besides that, it isn't like changing that line to be more of a joke changed the whole feel of the show. I don't think that Sonic X was even that serious in the Japanese version.

Not like it's very easy to take seriously a blue hedgehog to start with. I thought the only difference between the Sonic X sub and dub was that sub had more language and better voice acting. I didn't think it would have changed the entire tone lol.

... On the note of Syndrome, I kinda felt bad for the guy. XD I mean, he's a psychopath, but this all started because his hero let him down. Which I guess on its own says a message of in total about 'getting away with treating people like garbage'.

Well, in LotR, the Orcs were created with evil magic, so they'd be evil no matter what, and in Oz, the flying monkeys obeyed the witch out of fear (some cheer when she is killed, I think). What bothered me in Redwall was that when one of the bad animals is born into Redwall and raised the same way as the good ones, he still turns evil for no logical reason. The exact opposite happens later, when a 'good' animal is raised by 'evil' ones. For no reason, he turns good.

And it always bothered me that all the cool animals were evil.

In fairness, other interpretations have added more shades of grey. Beast Wars and Animated especially have had the Maximals/Autobots engaging in immoral experiments and basically being a corrupt government that can do what they like because they won the war. Though G1 does have the episode War Dawn which shows Optimus Prime's origins and how the war started, which was written by a guy who openly said he wanted it to be anti-war.

For a really bad war moral, I'd say most modern Gundam. Why? Because alot of it says 'Peace is perfectly obtainable and we could have it right now if we all hold hands and sing'. When even anti-war folks like me hate such childish morals, you know you're doing something wrong. Luckily, the most recent series (Gundam 00) ended on a note that was hopeful but still realistic about how difficult change is to impliment :)
