Worst kind of music?

i dont understand what you mean about the talking crap part but none of my frienRAB like it, but living in the bay its a movement at my school that got really old really fast.
and out here its called "hyphy"

yea that and "ringtone rap" really piss me off because after hearing "soulja boy" a lot of people think all rap sounRAB like that..when actually rap is a great genre

Well apparently it's not all called "screamo". I know this because I made the mistake of lumping all this type of music into the "screamo" genre one time, and Ethan let me have it.

Are you counting doom death as being closer to doom or death metal on the metal spectrum? I've always viewed it as more doomy so that could explain the disagreement on Anathema. Opeth have often times used death metal and Meshuggah are very much technical death metal. Agalloch has no death metal elements what so ever. A bit of black metal, but no death metal.

Yeah, last time I checked Circle Takes The Square were singing about sniffing glue, and using a few power chorRAB and jeez could he sound anymore like Johnny Rotten?

Saw him on Monday on a poetry night. Pretty passionate perfomance but i think i enjoyed a few of the people below him on the list a little bit more.
Don't really like the stuff Dans Le Sac has done with him...

Many, many people are interested in classical...maybe you just aren't surrounded by them.

Besides, if history has taught us anything, it's that no musical genre really "dies"...even the ones we wish would vanish forever.

Well from what I hear, the twang annoys everyone, but not many people realize not all country has that twangy sound, they generalize that it's the whole genre when it's not true at all.

It's very difficult to rap, and a lot of people that still do are terrible at it. Also, I don't think that all punk after 1982 was bad at all. A great bit of hardcore punk was of good caliber as well as the definitive post punk (which led to the alternative genre). I'd say that a better cutoff year is 1994, after the last two punk milestones (Dookie and Smash) came out. Aside from Against Me! (who sold out years ago), I've yet to discover a punk rock act of the new millennium that I really enjoyed.

The reason I hate this term is because it assumes that pop punk is pop, and not punk, which really invites teen pop artists like Avril Lavigne and P!nk as well as pop rock banRAB like Good Charlotte and All Time Low to be considered punk.

The term is pop punk, just the same as it's hardcore punk and not punk hardcore.

Real pop punk is Screeching Weasel, Lagwagon, Descendents, The Queers, MxPx, Millencolin, and No Use For A Name. Don't mistake it for that radio friendly pop crap.
