Worst Films Ever - And i mean EVER!!!

I saw something on the Horror Channel the other day called The Dreaded. The people who made it must have had a sense of irony, because it was truly dreadful. As is Plan 9 from Outer Space.

But the thing is, you expect these to be awful - you don't watch these films expecting to be blown away. Much in the same way you don't watch something like Showgirls or Emmanuelle because you've heard the cinematography is top drawer. If you get my drift.

That's why the real worst films are one's that shouldn't be bad. Films like Pearl Harbour, The Avengers etc. that have the benefit of A-list actors and directors, and multi million pound studio backing. The one's that you pay to go and see, and at the end stand up and think, "That has robbed me of 100 minutes of my life".
I don't know about you, but I had much more fun laughing at the sheer absurdity of Plan 9 from Outer Space than I did watching Batman & Robin.

East is East - I watched this film thinking 'any minute now, it'll get interesting', but it didnt! Pointless pile of tosh!!

Absolute waste of an hour and a half of my life that I'll never get back!

WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!

The Devil's Backbone - cheap? tacky? poor?

You're not talking about Guillermo del Toro's totally amazing film??? If so, then I can't believe anyone would raise this in a list of most dire films. It's incredibly well scripted, directed and atmospheric.

Please!! Don't open your mouth if you lack the ability to recognise complete quality - it's not as if it's just an average film.

I make no apology for cussing your taste if we're talkinnng about the same film, as nobody who hasn't seen this should be given the impression that this is cheap, tacky and poor.

Hmm, in my opinion, the following films are *not* rubbish:
Oh Brother, Where Art Thou (superb film)
Blair Witch (very clever, very atmospheric)
Da Ali G Movie (stupid but funny, very funny with DVD commentary)
The Avengers (poor, and overly surreal, but nowhere near as bad as the reviews)
Fantasia (fantastic, magical even)
Starsky & Hutch (Stupid but funny, does tail off a bit though)

I have found Pear Harbour and Titanic to be unwatchable: I have tried, but I cannot sit through them.

Stuck On You is pretty dire, but at least i managed to sit through it. I wish I hadn't.

Oh yes and i cannot forget to mention DUMB AND DUMBERER: WHEN HARRY MET LLOYD!

Does anyone remember this..........anyone?..........no?.......I thought so ;)

P.s. And please do not nominate the Matrix sequals everyone, because they might of been bad but they werent the worst of all time.

Yes i already know that this film was made based entire on re-shoots!

But they shouldn't have made this film in the first place.........I mean really how many people can actually remember the sequals to the original.............I can still remember them.......But i try not to think about them because they are crap!

The Avengers (starring Ralph Fiennes and Uma Thurman). The script is awful, and some of the acting is, too. Luckily it's only 90 mins long, i.e. shorter than your average movie nowadays!

I saw the 2nd one before the 1st one, and rated it as one of the very best films of the whole year...absolutely brilliant with plenty of gore and shocks around each corner and a brilliant ending...hope that there will be a 3rd!

Didn't see House, but House 2 was pretty crap. I remember thinking WTF was all that about. My brother did say that House was quite good though.

"The passion of the christ" can't be that bad! Someone in my school watched and he quit his course to become a christain and make cheap wedding videos.

The worst film in history has to be Simone

Just thought of another one that probably beats my "Italian Job" choice. Scary Movie 2!! Possibly the biggest load of crap my eyes have ever witnessed, I didnt go and see Scary Movie 3 because of it, but was glad to see the 3rd movie was a lot better.
