Worst Film You've Ever Sat through....

I got this on dvd (didn't see it in the cinema) saw 20 minutes of it and thought it was awful. I watched it all the way through to see if it got any better. it didn't.

I tend to switch off and have a nap if the film isn't up to much.

Slept soundly for the following !

There will be blood.
Million Dollar Baby
Kill Bill 2

Another shockingly bad movie that comes to mind is Spider with Ralph Fiennes. It was bleak, turgid, slower than an asthmatic slug and utterly depressing.

Wedding Crashers. It was a comedy? Where was the funny?! An hour felt like 3, goodbye.

You, Me and Dupree. Same reason, multiplied by a million. Never even got halfway through.

Sideways. I've learnt somewhat recently that if critics love it, i will hate it. ("Knocked up" excepted). Lasted 20 minutes.

Talladega Nights. Another mislabelled "comedy", just awful, abandoned the last 20 mins, was beyond caring after waiting so long for humour.

Signs Pretentious shite, the most boring alien invasion imaginable! Real people would never talk like that family waffled on for 2 hours. I actually sat till the end of this one waiting for the alien payoff, and got a bit of water splashed about. "Swing away", my arse, wish i'd walked away.

i didnt think world trade centre was too good when i saw it

erm, what else, hot fuzz i didnt break a smile,

errrrrm rattling my brain now wow, big mommas house 2, walked out on that bad boy, absolute shocker.

no more, btw whoever said transformers was bad well sir i have to disagree, amazing film me thinks

"Terror of Tiny Town"

A western with a cast comprised solely of people of diminutive stature riding Shetland ponies.

There is nothing in the plot to indicate that these are a group of people who have been apart from the general population for hundreRAB of years and have therefore evolved differently or anything like that. If there had it might have been excusable. As it is, it comes across as making fun of a particular group of people.

I am not usually accused of being politically correct - I can laugh with anybody at most jokes - but in terms of bad taste this one takes some beating.

People are listing whatever films that they remember they hated, that they thought were bad, and that the resented paying for. Or whatever other criteria they think makes said film "the worst." It's up to them how they judge.

Obviously everybody has a different perspective so many many people have a different opinion to you. :D

There is no objective criteria. It's a subjective decision for each individual.

Disagree all you like, but they / we can't be "wrong". (and you can't be "right" either. Sorry. ;))

You don't get to decide what I or anyone else think are the worst films we've ever sat through.

You get to decide yours. that's it.

In psychology there's a developmental stage that toddlers go through when they realise that other people can hate things they like and vice versa. Maybe you skipped it? ;):D

On LoveFilm one of my picks for the worst movie I've ever sat through My Super Ex Girlfriend has been scored 1/2 a star by 1114 people including me.

1221 people scored it 5 stars. I think they are demented - or possibly watched a whole other film - but they can't be wrong.
