Worst Film Ever - Cast your worst film into a pit of flames here

Yep, as in it's a very subtle piece of film making, beautifully done. It proves (at least to me) that you can make a film that is very touching without having to manipulate the viewer into it.

Sideways is a a pretty decent movie too, a bit over-rated, but solid enough....

Wouldn't the world be boring if we all agreed about everything!!! :)

Forrest Gump - pointless and dull
Any Police Academy film - puerile doesn't come close
Anything with Brigitte Nielsen in!
Ditto - Jean Claude Van Damme
Ditto Steven Segal
Anything made by Michael Winner
Speed 2 - dire

Space mutiny....contender for worst movie ever.

Low budget.
Special effects ripped straight out of Battlestar Galactica.
Character gets killed but is alive and well in the next scene.
Spaceship engine room looks like a warehouse.

Check Mystery science theater 3000 HERE ripping the film to pieces (as usual).

Okay, thread closed! No-one is going to top the abomination I seen yesterday - I don't care what anyone says ;o)

Myself and two frienRAB watched a flick called I.R.A.: King of Nothing over a few beers and if the writer/director/star (Damian Chapa) had waltzed into the room as the credits rolled I honestly would have hit him a slap up the side of the head! Amoeba on Mars would knock-off a more convincing array of accents... and the dialogue/delivery - ha!!

Mind you; if you're up for a laugh. . .

2001: A Space Odyssey - The film with that Hmm-ing soundtrack!

The Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy - The so-called comedy which nobody laughed at!

Prizzi's Honor
Tin Men
Dune
Get Shorty
The Rules of Attraction
FeardotCom
Darkness

In recent years Daredevil and Troy have been very disappointing but i'm amazed there are very few mentions of Howard The Duck which was truly awful.

However the worst is...........

Don't STop The Music - The Village People Movie

Seriously its that bad it goes past the point of being funny because its bad. And Steve Guttenberg grins through hte entire thing. Truly Dreadful :(

Have to disagree, I think Johnny English was a great film. I can see the new Wicker Man being dire- the name of the original will be tarnished now.

haha, I agree, it was so bad. I didn't even get it. Why was his mother an actual dog? Unless she wasn't and I just misunderstood it because it was so crap.

Actually I'd like to include "The Talented Mr Ripley" ...it just never seemed to end! Matt Damon & Jude Law bored me half to death in that film, I prefer Jude in Sky Captain, which has even been mentioned here. :p

Open Water is realistic and tense and shocking. Problem is you all believed the hype and thought it would be like Jaws or something, instead of judging it own its own terms. Also I saw it without knowing the ending. I bet you all knew the ending thanks to the media telling everyone, which no doubt made it much less intense. So you are judging it based on your pre-conceived opinions and knowledge rather than for what it actually is.

Detested the original screen version of the "Shining" with Jack Nicholson. It was the most pathetic piece of garbage, that it has ever been my misfortune to watch and I hated it.

I had just finished reading the book when the film came out and so I was really looking forward to seeing it. The book had been a masterpiece and the film was absolutely nothing like the book. The whole cast were completely wrong for the characters they portrayed.

Jack Nicholson overacted deplorably, behaved like he was "stoned" out of his mind all the way through and came across as a complete idiot.

Shelley Duvall was brainless and just screamed and ran away all of the time.

The KiRAB' acting was abyssmal, he failed to convince anyone he had any polish, let alone a "Shine". :o

It was utter claptrap from start to finish and the biggest let down of all time. Stehen King must have been mortified when he saw it, I know I was.

The Shining has since been re-made and is on DVD, starring
Rebecca De Mornay and Steven Weber and is a much better adaptation of the book. :)

I'm still not over-enthused by the kid though! :D
