Worst advert on TV at the moment (Part 4)

"They say women can handle pain better than men, but that's just because we remember to take our painkillers"
Or something like that from the latest Boots advert. It's getting annoying now because I'm seeing it almost everywhere and I don't really understand it's message. If you are in pain you don't really need to "remember" to get some treatment, do you?
 
I never bother with Moon-pig either, which it seems to be trying re-place, I use Corel draw to make the card and post it my-self, using Smart-stamp, so no going to the post office for stamps, just print off on card, SIGN which neither of those can do for you and walk to post box, simples
 
That's what I thought too - but actually KitKat is Nestle and Shape is Danone so that's not true. It's just strange.

Ok, another ad that's annoying me, and this is the environmentlist in me kicking in now, is the one for Exxon at the moment where some breathless soothing woman is spouting off about how their new natural gas plant in Wales is securely our energy future and making it sound like some sort of environmentally friendly scheme.

You might as well describe Coal and Oil as 'Natural Coal' and 'Natural Oil' because it's just as green.
 
there used to be a worse one than that, can't remember the product, which shows how effective the ad was, but it had a theme "Song" some-thing like, "Shake that booty" which is just about all that it consisted of, a load of women shaking their booties to the camera, Now I am very broad-minded but it did little for me, but that could be that I take after my pet, he's a Tit-mouse :D
 
I've now seen the Argos Christmas ad featuring Bing Crosby for about the 6th time today on Sky Sports - it's awful, I sincerely hope they're not going to inflict that upon us for the next 2 months.
 
Has anyone mentioned the ludicrously bad and cringeworthy 'Burger King' adverts' with the masked king beckoning his customer to eat that rubbish? it's got to be seen to be believed...it's so bad!

The way she laughs on that ad - AAAAAAARRRGGHHH !
 
I hate the advert for baby milk where the VoiceOver says something like 'and it now comes in a ready to drink carton, with a straw'. She says in a really babyish voice like she is talking to a 4 year old! It's either aimed to be patronising tp adults or aimed at the child itself which I doubt a little one that age would make a big fuss over. Argh I hate her voice!

I must have seen this advert 12 times in the last hour and a half (sometimes its on two times in a single break) way to much! Plus why the f**k did they get Nolan to do this? as if I was not already sick to death of seeing the talentless washed up old bag in everything else now I have to see her every single advert break? :mad:
