Worst advert on TV at the moment (Part 4)

Nat West Bank.

Stupid ad showing how "helpful" they are...... Playing cricket, painting fences... what's that all about?

I'd rather they opened some more windows and served a few more customers and got rid of the queues which happen continually at our local branch..

So the real answer should be, give a monkey a coffee bean and in a few million years, they will make coffee because they'll evolve, and then make stupid adverts about it :D

:D:D:D

I suppose it's just annoying that they state that coffee isn't made from luck, as if Shakespeare was, and isn't in fact just the inevitable consequence of every combination of keys being pressed in infinite time. Given infinite time, the incredibly unlikely becomes a certainty, so even if you have to do all that to a coffee bean, a monkey would do all that by chance and still make coffee :D

Yes, it

and of course so sweet and inocent, try Googling her, they can't touch you for it, and look at her pictures in the erm um er, so they tell me that is, not that I have done that like

Yes! That advert is so stupid!. A bear with a 'gangster' voice threatening people into eating BirRABEye fish?? People must have been on drugs to come up with that!

A graduate of Oxford University, Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web, an internet-based hypermedia
initiative for global information sharing while at CERN, the European Particle Physics Laboratory, in 1989.

The roots of the internet we have now do indeed go as far back as ARPAnet in 1969.

I hate those Oxo adverts that show some famous(?) chef preparing a "glaze" of oil and stock cube and trying to pass it off as an authentic cooking method.

The Clio ad is confusing; apart from the old trick of showing a top of the range car in the body of the ad and then showing and quoting an almost-base spec car, it looks like European plates on a car supposedly driven in America, finished by a voice-over in a dodgy French accent.

What a mess...

Maybe we are getting it wrong-maybe it's the "creatives" behind these terrible aRAB we should be pillorying.

If enough people e-mailed the companies to tell them their advertising is crap, they would lose confidence in their ad agency and dump them.

Resulting in some Tarquin and Tamara having to work in Subway instead of swanning about to PR bashes.:D

For it's the one for the "no touch" handwash soap, because you might get germs from pressing the top of other liquid soaps. Errm...yes you might - but then you wash your hanRAB!

It's actually the product rather than the advert that annoys me, but theis kind of germ phobia is really unhelpful.
