World Wrestling Entertainment Discussion X (Spoilers)

Well to be fair they couldn't have the Buried Alive match last, considering Nexus are involved in it. It wouldn't make sense to do it in the order and it needed a match inbetween to let it settle. So if you look at it that way the card was put in the correct order unless they made the Buried Alive match earlier and then put the Divas match inbetween this and the WWE title match. However the Raw vs Smackdown match should have been last, considering what PPV it was then again goes to show about how last minute that match was put together.

I enjoyed his chemistry with Christian too, that was a good mentor/rookie pairing. The first season had the best of the rookies by far, maybe with the sole exception of Kaval. And I had a soft spot for Titus but apart from that, the rest are pretty average and forgettable.

but russo was fine without VKM...wcw late 99 was amazing tv

also since russo left macmahon has nothing to vetoeo and thus we have wwe tv that we have now, ok macmahon is a great editor, but he needed a grea tnovelist to work with first

juvi vs liger in tequila bottle on a pole match was more interesting than these pointless midcard matches wwe puts on every week

and cornette is the dumbest guy in the business, if he was writing wed have guys debuting in scary boxes just because.

No im not. (MUTTERS: CRAP I have blown my cover act natural.

Im not Matt Hardy. (Well done Matt I think You got away with it :)

If it was that easy to be Shawn Michaels then why cant most of the roster get to the level he did? The fact is Michaels was one of the most talented "workers" ever.

Also, why shouldnt Orton be main eventing in 5 years time? He will only be 35 then.

Addressing these backwarRAB...

Cornette is stuck in time. That last bit made me smile.

What is the point of a tequila bottle on a pole match? It's entertaining but without advertising it (which WCW never did) it doesnt draw people in. I'm starting to realise WWE's main strength is marketing. And video editing. Matches like that should happen on PPV. Remember when Lawler poured Whisky down the sober Roddy Piper's throat? That would have made a whisky on a pole match worthwhile. everything should happen for a reason.

Cant argue about the writers. They're failed TV writers for a reason. Guys who understand wrestling will always be better - I actually got excited when Freddie Prinze Jr came in as he is a hollywood guy Vince wants but has been a wwe fan for life, so he'd have had a good balance. Oh well...

Mad Catz announced today that they have signed a multi-year deal with THQ and will be releasing FightStick and FightPad video game accessories for WWE's upcoming All Stars game that comes out in early 2011.

Last weeks Impact did the highest rating since the first live January show. The rating for Impact 2 days ago beat that again and that is now the highest rated show since January. The first segment got a 1.53

WWE has no option but to rely on the young talent. You can bet if the likes of Shawn and Hunter and Batista were still there they would still be stinking up the main events. Impact is going from strength to strength each week. People need to realise both companies have completely different audiences who watch their own brand of wrestling for a specific reason. WWE fans watch WWE for the actual wrestling matches and pantomime aspect. People watch TNA because it is proper wrestling and far more realistic to watch, aimed very much at a male audience. There is nothing wrong with either company, their just aiming for their target audiences. TNA's ratings just keep going up and up each week and if you do watch Impact tonight, just think about why their ratings are going up and up each week.

I agree, it'd make the winner look more impressive if it was on PPV. Speaking of PPVs, I've said it plenty of times before, there are too many PPVs. Six would be enough, in my opinion. But, I'm sure there's a lot of business-related reasons why that wouldn't work.

Still, as it is, I really hope that the contestants have to earn their spots rather than just being announced on the night. It adRAB to the build up, which most of the time leaRAB to higher ratings.

I agree on your point that the winner should be rewarded by a title shot. The following PPV (TLC) seems to be the ideal place to do it. If they did that last year, it would have made Sheamus look more impressive.

Hi guys, thought I'd watch the PPV because it's free!

Don't expect much quality action - The Undertaker vs. Kane could be a real dud.The divas match will no doubt be crap. The rest should range from passable to entertaining. Most interesting thing is how many people actually bought this event.

I don't really like wrestling games George. They pale in comparison to other games on the market and could be way more inventive IMO.

To be fair if anything it was praising Regal and its true everyone mentions HBK but never Regal. HBK could in no way teach Danielson the things he knows, that must have come from somewhere else. To me it just seemed like they were making that clear rather than having a dig at HBK himself.
