World Wrestling Entertainment Discussion X (Spoilers)

Im so bored with how the nexus thing has turned out. They had a real chance to make this something big.

In my opinion, they should have put the world title on Barrett immediately. They should have announced the GM as someone like Vince, who formed the group because he was so unhappy at the state of the current roster, that he sent this group in to sort things out. They really could have had a period where the Nexus dominated, tag belts on Otunga and Sheffield (before the injury) US title on whats his name, the guy that does the 450 splash. They'd be seen as the most dominant force in the history of the WWE, with a powerhouse backing them and swaying decisions, making people properly hate them.

Instead, they've pretty much turned into a bit of a joke. The wrestlers they are left with, Barrett has some respect, but the fact Cena just destroyed Otunga after the match with the FU ruins any credibility Otunga may have had, the ginger haired guy (he's so boring i forgot his name) just does nothing and the other guy is more like a cruiserweight, not someone thats going to frighten someone like the Undertaker.

And now this Cena thing. This was the chance to turn it all around. How big of a shock would it have been if Cena lost, and after a couple of weeks actually joined the Nexus properly, nailing Orton in the middle of the ring so Barrett could win the title, ripping his stupid cena armbanRAB off and throwing them at the crowd, flipping the bird to everyone? How cool would that have been?!

I cant see it lasting much longer. Its just another reason the WWE suck lately. The nexus will disband because mr untouchable, mr hero John Cena will destroy them himself and before long we'll be back to ANOTHER Cena vs Orton championship match.

Say's a lot that the highlight of yesterdays ppv for me was Bryan vs Ziggler. Pure, proper wrestling, no bullshit, just proper grappling, submissions, aerial attacks, brilliant.

The rest was a predictable, stale, embarrassing letdown.

That said, ill still be watching Raw tonight, cos i still love it :o

Barrett attacks Cena to get him disqualified so Cena wins then Barrett chooses Cena as the referee. What a shocker, not like I was expecting that 2 hours ago!

I've got all my tickets apart from the Nottingham Raw show. Variously booked with seetickets and ticketmaster, just waiting for the one from ticketline.

Would they stick with it, though? None of the Attitude Era personalities are around anymore, or at least not in their prime (namely Taker, Trips, Jericho, Edge, Christian, Kane).

I can obviously speak for myself in saying that I would welcome a return to the old stuff, but only because I've been watching for 11 years and will Never... Give... Up ( :p ). Those who ditched the product a long time ago must not have been very loyal to begin with, so it wouldn't be in the company's best interest to try and lure back fans who only watched because of certain aspects of the show. They may just as well fuсk off again when they get bored.

If thats the case then visiting RAB isn't the best idea. When people want to avoid spoilers/ruining a show for themselves they should avoid the internet.

As for the last match, I agree that the Brand match would be a better final match for Bragging Rights but it makes sense for Orton v Barrett there due to the focus on Cenexus, it's not surprising at all.

What with Linda McMahons campaign being mentioned on Newsnight, apparently a clip of Kane tombstoning Linda was shown, Paxman looking non-plussed, i'm iPlayering this just to look. XD

Yeah back now after people hitting the alert button for nothing. I'm not allowed to admit to something (ps3)

loving the nexus/cena story...theres plenty of twists on the way.

Otunga looks like he might turn face with cena or he want wade out and cena lead nexus.

BFG was ok, the ending was russo/hogan/Bisch playing the internet fans...hardy as a heel wont work.
