I wanted to know if I have any possible potential to become a good writer, or should I stop writing poetry and venture into something else?
Any opinions or advice appreciated thanks!
I am not a Poet
I am not a poet, just an admirer of words unspoken
Voices unheard, and beauty not felt,
I am not a poet, but just an apprentice of complex sentences,
A person who has not moon walked with the greats, such as
Frost, Poe, and Whitman, but has lost gravity, spacing out to the words they have written.
I am not a poet, but I find myself constructing 9th wonders in the form of a prose, which in Latin means straightforward, which correlates with my writing as I am trying to get my point across.
I am not a poet, but wonder how many different shades of black can there be to illustrate the moods of a single being.
I am not a poet, just a boy who gazes into the galaxies, hoping that his words will extend beyond many planets, inhabited by species with unknown languages.
I am not a poet, but will someday use his words as a guiding light that will be seen by souls who have not been given the gift of sight.
