Wizards of different cultures?

Hi there.

I was recently in the office of a child therapist. She had various toys on a shelf in one area and among them were several action figures that seemed to represent wizards from different cultures. One looked European, another Chinese, one was like an Indian sadhu, etc. They were about 3" tall and each was attached to a detailed base. No markings on the bottom except maybe "China." Any idea what these were and where I could find them?
