Are you wondering that if you already know about sensors, DPI, color space, PPI, etc. then you don't need to go to school for Photography? I'm unclear on the question. But I believe that for every person there is a different route, since there is a million ways to do things with photography already. I always believe in the power of influence, though, and you won't get a greater influence than being completely surrounded by artists at an art school. I'm a senior at MICA in Baltimore now, and there is nothing better for my work than being completely surrounded by other artists.

How about lighting? That would take a year in itself.

How about running a business without going broke?

How about positive ways of promoting yourself?

How about contacts to pave the way?

How about an internship?

attend school for photography?
I understand PPI and sensors, however, DPI and Color Space as applied to photography remains a mystery to me. Thanks for your answer.
