So I'm slowly becoming more and more educated regarding subs, amps, and how to wire them in my car, but I still need a little advice. I just upgraded to a US amps ax2000 (2x 1000rms at 2 ohms) plus 2 DD subs that are 750 rms 3000 peak each. The fuse is 200 watts, and the current one in the car is 150 so I need to get one of those. Also, the wring from the battery to the sub and the ground is 4 gauge. I can get 1/0 gauge wire for pretty cheap, would that be sufficient for what I'm running? What else do I need to do? Do the Big 3? HO alternator?
A year ago I told the guys replacing my battery that I would be putting in a system, so they put in a heavier duty battery. I got the system from a guy that had what I think was another stock battery powering a dry cell... What advice do you have?
