i listen to rap and hip hop music, i have a 97 trans am sort of a hatchback trunk with a custom enclosure box, but if this sub isnt getting the job done please help me to choose one around $100 that is better, thanks for your help

i have then this is a kick ass price buy then it will blow the shit out of ur car ...... yea it will be .... bangin u might consider getting dynomat cuz ur shits gunna rattle

great deal on subs and very loud for the price,, but i totaly agree about the amp.....spend a little extra its what makes the subs loud and clear and this amp won't do that too well, look around on ebay and try to find an amp with ratings Between 500 and 800 RMS Wattage(not max wattage, there is a huge difference) max wattage means nothing with car audio add the total RMS wattage of your subs and look for an amp that is about the same RMS. (RMS means continuous watts and is what your amp is actually giving to your subs when the amp is all the way up, and RMS on a sub is what it can actually handle, max ratings are just to make you think a product can handle more than it actually can.

yes but you could do MUCH better. that amp is awful. you should get a mono class d for starters and get a better brand. you got the right website thats where ur gonna find the cheapest stuff just look for a different amp and you could bump alot harder. (rockford fosgate, JL audio, alpine, older hifonics, and maybe kenwood amps)
