Will the P3's blow if powered by a T-1500bd?

If I hooked a RF T-1500bd amplifier to a pair of P3's wired to 1 ohm would they blow? The RMS for a single P3 is 500 watts and they max out at 1000 a piece. The T-1500 bd pushes out 1500 watts rms at 1 ohm. figure that means about 750 watts would go into each P3 but RF under rates their amps. But would they blow?

Don't assume that the RF amp is underrated in all cases. See if the amp is CEA-2006 compliant, if so, assume that the is an accurate 1500w rms. If you do hook up 2 p3's which make 1000w rms to a 1500w rms amp, they will most likely blow because you're giving them 250w rms over what they are rated. If you don't want to switch amps, just turn the power down on the amp. Good luck
