2 years from now, when there is still gangs, violence, drugs...when the bangers of chicago are still as violent as ever...when ghetto culture of 'baby mommas' and 'hos' of the hip-hop vulgar rap is still out there...and when blacks are still poor...2 years from now when blacks in urban poor areas still don't have new homes and hand outs and realize they aren't living in Utopia, 2 years from now when the black population realizes the world is still full of evil, and racism still exists, and black kids who drop out of school still don't get good jobs, and schools still suck....2 years from now when blacks realize that Obama is catering to a lot of white people...working with white people...taking advice from white people... and it hits them that there isn't a drop of slave blood in Obama....and when the black culture realizes that life still sucks, and life is still hard, and Utopia has not arrived, and 80% of black children are still fatherless, and women are still treated as "hos" and kids are still abandoned, and mothers are still nothing but a 'baby momma"....when the black culture realizes that life isn't really that much better, and so many are still in poverty.....will the Black culture rise up against Obama because they don't have the promised land delivered to them?

So sad. Obama will always be seen as a hero. He is clearly his own man. To suggest that blacks will cast him out for being an uncle tom means that you do not understand the concept. And Uncle Tom is someone who is used by the white man against his own people. And you seem to equate the lives of blacks in poverty with black culture as a whole. Black culture is very complex and multi-layered. It's easy to see, but you have to be open to it.
And Blacks are not the only ones who engage in drug use, teenage pregnancy, gang membership and are on welfare. More whites are on Welfare than any other ethnic group.
So far, Obama seems to have been able to raise above race. Obama has already accomplished a tremendous amount for the black community just be getting elected.
And it's 65%, not 80%. And while 65% is a high number, so is the 25% figure for whites. And since whites out number blacks 6 to 1, that would mean that more white kids are being raised in single parent households than black children.
The problems you point out are not black problems because they affect people of all races and in fact, affect more white people than black people. It's just that a higher percent of blacks are poor.
