Will switching chords quicker and more efficiently come with time and practice?

I have been paying for guitar lessons for four months now and can definitely see myself improving. I practice anywhere from 2 - 4 hours a day depending on how much time I put aside for it.

I know all the chords from the C Major scale and can almost go through the whole scale with relatively little time in between each chord change. With the exception of Bm and F because they are barre chords.

Should I expect to be able to switch from G, E, C, D as fast as this song in four months?

And will barre chords get easier with time as well? I am really committed to learning the guitar and want to learn more and more about everything it has to offer. So, I mean, the quickness will eventually come with time, right? Or is this just a skill people are essentially born with?
thanks! that's actually exactly what I wanted to hear.
