...They are normal speakers? I have a pair of 8 inch speakers(not subs). They are 8 omh and have 200 watts RMS. My amplifier is 2 channels 1100 x 1 @ 4 omh RMS. I was wondering if i can bridge with ot risking any damage? If n e one know pleas answer.

Thank you

no it will kill them speakers they rms at 200 so 1100 is way way to much if u do it then will b lookin for new speakers very soon

Don't do that, you'll fry those speakers. When you bridge speakers (or subwoofers) you half the impedence (ohms) going to the amp. So bridging two 8ohms would give a 4ohm load, bridging 4ohms would give you a 2ohm load and so on. Anyways, sense your amp gives out 1100RMS x1 @ 4ohms, that means when you hook up a 4ohm load, you will be giving out 1100RMS, or 550RMS to each speaker. 550RMS will fry a 200RMS speaker in no time. You need more powerful speakers or a less powerful amp. As far as bridging, it will not hurt the amp at all, just the speakers. That is with the speakers you have. You don't say at what ohm level your amp is. Is you connect a lower ohm load than your amp is stable, you will fry your amp.
