will my 1200watt sony xplod amp be enough to push my single kicker L7 15"?

I have a sony xplod 2/1 channel 1200watt amp will it have enough Power to push my single kicker L7 15" or will it be to underpowered because I dnt want to blow the sub
 
You don't need maximum power to drive a speaker. What you need to look at is the qualifications of the speaker. I'm not going to look that up because when you do it for yourself you'll learn a whole lot you would otherwise miss. If the speaker can handle more power that the amp outputs, that's a good thing, since risk of burning out the speaker hardly occurs. If the amp can provide more power that the speaker can handle, running the amp full blast will destroy the speaker sooner or later and sound like crap as it runs near the limit. Without looking up anything, I feel safe guessing there is plenty enough amp power for that speaker. I'm anticipating your next question about capacitors, because a powrful amp like that needs to be fed a lot of electricity. That only can come from your battery and alternator. If there's a spare 1200 watts, fine. If not, adding capacitors is a waste of money that will not correct power deficiency.
