Will a Rockford Fosgate P1000.1bd amp overpower 2 kicker L7 8's?

If I get two 4-ohm kicker L7 8's and wire them both down to 2-ohms it will be at 1 ohm for the amp. But will the rockford p1000 be too powerful for them or will it work?

The specs for the kicker L7 8's are 450 RMS. So I was thinking... 450 + 450 = 900 which is almost 1000 and will be only a little overpowered right?
 
Rockford Fosgate underrates amps, so you're really actually going to be overfeeding them by about 200-250 watts.. It should be fine with the L7's.
