will 500 watts blow rockford fosgate p2 12?

i have a rockford fosgate p2 12 that i just ordered and just ordered an rockford fosgate r500 prime. the speaker is a 250 watt rms but 500 watt max i was wandering if i run it at the 500watt max with the r500 at 2 ohms(which the speaker and amp are both rated at) if it would blow the speaker
