First of all, this may not be 100% accurate, but it was tested by 1 guy with a power meter.
Wii:
- In Standby Mode: 10w
- Idle @ Wii menu: 17w
- Running a Wii Game (Test with Zelda / Trauma Center) in 480i: 17w
XBox 360:
- In Standby Mode: 2w
- Idle @ Dashboard: ~140w
- Running a Game: ~160w
- Playing a DVD: ~110w

Its obvious that the 360 would be a huge power drain with its hardware but looking at the Wii running Zelda at 17w is an incredible power saver compared to 160w.
Idle at dashboard is almost the same as running a game
Oh and according to a Danish guy, the PS3 uses 380w playing a game lol
Cliffs? The Wii will barely effect your electricity bill.
