How are we being ripped off by Nintendo? I paid $250 for a console that, even with the limited games so far, is more fun all the games I have ever played on my modded XBox.
I was thinking I would never buy another console again. My Godson has a 360 and brings it over all the time. The games are pretty but there is nothing special in any of them. Not that it's not fun, but I have as much or more fun with games on my PC. It's the same old thing that was on PS1/XBox/GC/360/PS2/PS3. Just enhanced a bit with more details.
After watching my son play the Wii at a friends house and me trying it out at a store, I was hooked. It's different. It got me excited about console gaming again.
Just because it doesn't have the horsepower of the 360/PS3, don't think that it won't have a long life. And once developers see that it is sitting in 4X as many homes as PS3's they will be killing themselves to make games for it.
