i just bought a amp and speakers for my car and bought a kit we hooked it up today and it stays on for about 5 secs then cuts off completely.....its a gfx - 1000, its a 1000watt amp and it will only stay on for a while if you dont turn any knobs on it or volume while connecting the 12V spot to the REM spot which already have wires in them
