why won't my fable 3 character show his improvements (such as strength or height)?

i maxed out strength, unlocked all melee chests, same with ranged and magic, but i have not noticed any differences except for when i am interacting with someone he is just taller, but he isn't buff at all he is just like the beginning of the game
